Jajpur: In pursuance of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T mantra to bring desirable change in the lives of people, the first time BJD lawmakers are adopting the action plan in dealing with the people and their problems. The instances of lawmakers reaching out to the people at the grassroots level are now happening more frequently than before! One such instance has come to fore in Jajpur Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday.
Guided by Naveen’s 5T mantra, BJD Lok Sabha MP Sarmistha Sethi made a surprise visit to a primary school in her constituency to get ground report about functioning of school and teaching standard.
The BJD MP gained good experiences from her visit to Rasuna Primary school in Jajpur district. She had interacted with the students and teachers on various issues pertaining to their development.
Not only this, the Jajpur MP also attended a class with the students. She was seen sitting among the students and reading study materials. She discussed several topics with the teachers and students.
Sethi, who recently received wider appreciation for reaching out to the people in a remote village in Jajpur district to solve their problems within 24 hours of getting request on social media, said that the visit to the school not only brought her childhood memories, but also enabled her to get a clear picture about the functioning of schools in her constituency.
