Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director General of Police Abhay will visit Malkangiri today to review the situation there in light of yesterday’s encounter in which three maoists were killed. He will interact with senior officials of the district and review the combing operations that have been launched since yesterday’s gun battle. Three maoists including two women cadre were killed yesterday at Tulsi Pahad in Mathili Block by the forces consisting of SOG and DVF members.
The DGP is expected to be accompanied by IG Operations Amitabh Thakur, Director Intelligence Lalit Das, Special Intelligence Wing (SIW) DIG Anirudh Kumar Singh and other top officials.
