Bhubaneswar: In yet another reforms in the administrative function, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday directed officials to ensure that the process for promotion of government employees gets completed by December 31 every year.
The CM also asked the heads of departments, Collectors and other senior official to give promotion by January 1 every year.
Expressing displeasure over the delay in promotion of middle and lower level government staff, Patnaik called for a transparency in the job promotion for the benefit of staff or officials.
Patnaik also cautioned the officials for any delay.
According to statement released by the Chief Minister’s office modern technology can be used for the promotion.
