Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that there would be no change in the post-matric scholarship amount for meritorious students belonging to SC/ST categories.
The students will get the post-matric scholarship at the prevailing rate, Naveen asserted.
The Chief Minister also directed to suspend the resolution issued by the SC/ST Development Department and asked to send the file to the CMO for detailed review.
Last month, the Odisha Government has launched a dedicated portal to enable meritorious students to apply and avail scholarships within a specified time frame under the 5T initiative.
The new portal will benefit more than 11 lakh students, including the students belonging to SC/ST categories.
