Bhubaneswar: No decision has been taken regarding the reopening of schools in Odisha, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Friday.
The Minister said that the State Government is discussing various aspects regarding the reopening of schools keeping the COVID-19 pandemic into consideration.
Some clarity will emerge after the fresh COVID-19 guidelines will come this month, he said.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) will take decision at an appropriate time regarding the reopening of schools, he added.
Notably, the State Government has decided to close the schools and colleges till Puja holidays as announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
