Bhubaneswar: The Khordha district administration has imposed ban on mass prayer during the celebration of Eid-UL-Fitre in view of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
“No mass prayer is allowed inside/outside of the mosques/idgahs/places of worship”, the district administration said in an order.
The usual religious rituals in Mosques shall be conducted with maximum five persons including moulavies/imams/staffs and all types of congregations are strictly prohibited, it said.
The administration has urged the general public to celebrate “Eid-Ul-Fitr” in their home.
