Bhubaneswar: There is no sign of COVID-19 third wave so far in Odisha, informed Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Director CBK Mohanty on Monday.
He said that the number of COVID-19 cases in the State remain between 1600 to 2000. Even though, some districts are witnessing higher infections, however there is no reason to panic, he added.
The current trend of infections in the State is similar in other countries, the DMET Director further stated.
The decision to unlock the COVID lockdown will be taken after considering different aspects of the prevailing situation, he added.
