Bhubaneswar: Noted Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda is no more. He died at a private hospital in Hyderabad yesterday night. He was suffering from liver psoriasis disease for the last few months and needed liver transplant. He was 45.
Born in 1978, Pintu Nanda was very popular in Odia Cinema and television. He started his career from acting in Doordarshan programs. Some of his popular films include Dosti, Hata Dhari Chalu Tha, Rumku Jhumana, Wrong Number, Prema Rutu Asigala etc. He is popular for his roles played as hero, villain, character artist and comedian. His E Gaura Album song made his immensely popular in the Odia Music world. A pall of gloom descended on the Odia film industry fraternity following Nanda’s death.
