Nothing Other Than Curricular Activites to Be Allowed in Schools: Mass Education Dept

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Department today said that nothing other than curricular activies shall be allowed in educaitonal institutions in the State.

In a letter to all District Educaiton Officers (DEOs), the Department has asked them to ensure strict implementation of COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols in view of fresh spike in number of COVID-19 infection in some States in India.

The teachers and concerned authorities shall ensure observance of “COVID-19 safety protocols such as mandatory wearing of mask, maintaining physical distance and provision of thermal scanning & hand wash or use of sanitizer by the students, teachers, staff and others, the letter reads.
