Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today tried to assuage the apprehensions relating to the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Speaking to media, Naveen said that the Act only deals with foreigners and there should not be any worry. He categorically stated that the Biju Janata Dal members of Parliament in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have made it clear that we do not support the NRC.
Naveen also appealed for peace and asked the citizens not to indulge in any rumor mongering.
