Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to introduce Covaxin vaccine in Ganjam district from July for vaccination of 18 years & above citizens in the district.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) PK Mohapatra wrote a letter to Ganjam Collector, BeMC Commissioner and CDM & PHO in this regard.
Covaxin will be supplied from State from July 2021 for vaccination of beneficiaries who are yet to receive first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and Covishield will be supplied only for beneficiaries, who are duo for 2nd dose, the letter reads.
