Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today release financial assistance for more than 37 lakh farmers under the KALIA scheme. This comes as the people of Odisha especially from Western Odisha are celebrating Nuakhai – the agrarian festival today.
The assistance will be released to small and marginal farmers for the Rabi crop season of year 2021-22. An amount of Rs 743 Crore will be released directly to the bank accounts of the farmers.
