Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department sleuths are carrying our searches at six places linked to Nuapada Assistant Civil Supplies Officer Ratnakar Sethy in a case pertaining to disproportionate assets. It is alleged that Ratnakar has accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The properties include two buildings, one Kalyana Mandap, three acre land in Cuttack, jewelry and other properties. The vigilance has also found insurance receipts of Rs 1.13 crore during the raids. More details awaited.
