Bhubaneswar: Bijay Kumar Behuria, MVI, Nuapada, Dist- Nuapada, was intercepted by a team of Odisha Vigilance near Khordha Hospital Square, while he was proceeding to Bhubaneswar from Nuapada in a private vehicle.
The MVI was found possession of cash worth Rs. 1.32 lakh (suspected ill-gotten cash collected as PC from different sources).
As Behuria could not explain satisfactorily, the amount was recovered from him and seized. Besides seized cash, vehicle was also seized.
Following the interception, search is being carried out at five locations of Behuria from DA angle. He is being examined to ascertain the source of funds, the Vigilance said.
