Puri: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty today visited the revered Jagannath Temple in Puri along with her family and offered prayers to deities.

She arrived at the Singhadwar in the morning amid tight security arrangements, where she was received by her hereditary panda and officials of the temple administration. The actress entered the shrine through the Baishi Pahacha accompanied by her mother, Sunanda Shetty, and other family members.

Inside the sanctum sanctorum, Shilpa Shetty offered prayers to the Chaturdha Vigraha on the Ratna Singhasan and also worshipped Goddess Mahalaxmi. She spent over an hour inside the temple performing rituals and seeking blessings.

After the darshan, the actress expressed her joy and gratitude, stating, “It is Mahaprabhu’s call that brought me to Puri today. I feel blessed and delighted. Among the Char Dham pilgrimages, this is the greatest shrine. Jai Jagannath.”
