Bhubaneswar: Odisha Development Commissioner Suresh Mahapatra and Secy 5T Initiatives to CM, V K Pandian today reviewed the Covid-19 preparedness in the districts of Rayagada and Gajapati. Both the officials visited the Covid-19 hospitals in the district and interacted with the officials regarding the availability of all infrastructure and services. They took stock of various steps taken by the district administrations in response to the corona pandemic.
They held detailed discussions with the Collectors and other officials on a range of issues including implementation of lockdown restrictions, providing livelihood to the needy, restarting MGNREGA work and issues related to stranded workers and labourers.
They also urged the administration for strict adherence to social distancing norms in all activities.
