Bhubaneswar: A medicines godown situated in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate caught fire and completely destroyed yesterday night due to short circuit. According to reports, the godown had medicines and other healthcare items worth crores of rupees.. There have been no reports of any casualties. The incident occurred at about 11 pm yesterday. On getting information, five fire tenders reached the spot and extinguished the fire after seven hours. The exact cause of the incident will be ascertained after due investigation.
