Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of International Human Solidarity Day today, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged all to work for an inclusive world.

“Let’s pledge to work for an inclusive world where we stand together for each other for a world which is free from violence, hunger, disease, discrimination, pollution & inequality”, the CM tweeted.

Future of human society rests on solidarity and empathy, Naveen said.

The UN General Assembly declared December 20 of each year as International Human Solidarity Day.

On December 22, 2005, the UN identified solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values that should underline relations between people from around the world in the 21st century.
