Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government will not relax in the penalty amount collected from the traffic violators, informed State Commerce and Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera here today.
Even though some States had relaxed traffic penalty amount, but there is no such plan for relaxation in Odisha, said the Minister.
Behera further said that a meeting on road safety will be held on December 18 where the collection of penalty against traffic violation will be discussed.
The people in Odisha are gradually becoming aware of the traffic rules and guidelines, he added.
