Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated popular actor Rajinikanth on being selected for Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said that the versatile actor contributed immensely for the growth of Indian cinema which endeared him to millions of cinema lovers.
“Congratulate popular actor @rajinikanth ji on being selected for #DadaSahebPhalke Award. The versatile actor contributed immensely for the growth of Indian cinema which endeared him to millions of cinema lovers”, Naveen tweeted.
The versatile actor will be honoured with the 2019 Dadasaheb Phalke award, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar announced this morning.
Rajinikanth has been honoured with the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan in the past.
