The latest issue of entry of Andhra officials into Odisha area in the name of vaccination has been thwarted by the Odisha Police.
Andhra has stepped up its illegal activities in the disputed areas and its officials are regularly entering the Odisha border. On the other hand Odisha has also stepped up its vigil in the border areas.

He has also instructed the Panchayat and Revenue department officials to stay at the border areas and oversee the various developmental activities being taken up by the Government of Odisha there.
The case related to the 21 of the 28 villages in Kotia Panchayat dates back to the 1960s and is in court.
