Odisha Govt Effects Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle; Several OAS Officers Transferred

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Thursday effected a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the OAS cadre, transferring several officers.

An official notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard.

Shyamali Mohapatra, Registrar, Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Energy Department.

Harish Chandra Nayak, Additional Director of Inquiry, Office of the Lokayukta, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Mission Director, NHM, Odisha, Bhubaneswar on foreign service terms & conditions.

Babita Mohanty, Special Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department.

Subhra Mohanty, Special Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.

Usharani Das, Special Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department.

Siona Mishra, Additional Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack (UoT as Additional Commissioner, Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar under Member, Board of Revenue) has been posted as Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Cuttack, on foreign service terms & conditions.

The posting of Siona Mishra as Additional Commissioner, Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar under the Member, Board of Revenue is hereby cancelled.

Sumitra Kumari Patnaik, Additional Secretary to Government, Mission Shakti Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department.

Ashutosh Samal, Additional Secretary to RDC (CD), Cuttack (UoT as Additional Commissioner, O/o the Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Cuttack) is now posted as Additional Commissioner, Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar under the Member, Board of Revenue.

The posting of Ashutosh Samal as Additional Commissioner, O/o the Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Cuttack has been cancelled.

Jyotishankar Mohapatra, Additional Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Mission Shakti Department.

Jogendra Majhi, Sub-Collector, Nuapada, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, BMC, Bhubaneswar on foreign service terms & conditions.

Durga Charan Murmu, Tahasildar, Kuliana, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, State Election Commission, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Shanti Swarup Mishra, Tahasildar, Aul, Kendrapara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, BMC, Bhubaneswar on foreign service terms & conditions.

Surmi Soren, Tahasildar, Junagarh, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Collector, Nuapada.

In exercise of powers conferred under Sub-Section 4 of Section 14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government has appointed Surmi Soren as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nuapada, in the district of Nuapada.

Sarat Majhi, BDO, Dabugaon, Nabarangpur (UoT as Executive Officer, Balangir Municipality), has been posted as Executive Officer, Koraput Municipality, on foreign service terms & conditions.

The posting of Sarat Majhi as Executive Officer, Balangir Municipality has been cancelled.

Sipak Kumar Patra, Land Officer, BDA, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department.
