Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today sent a medical team to examine health condition of veteran litterateur Manoj Das, who has been undergoing treatment at the nursing home of Sri Aurobinda Ashram in Puducherry since last three months.
The team which is led by Prof Dr Biranchi Narayan Mohapatra, Professor of Medicine and Dean and Principal of Shri Jagannath Medical College and Hospital in Puri, will submit a report to the state Government after checking health condition of the Padma Bhushan awardee.
Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Director Dr CBK Mohanty on Monday had written a letter to Dr Mohapatra directing him to proceed to Puducherry to visit the eminent writer.
