Odisha Vigilance Unearths Huge Assets of Bonai ITDA Project Administrator

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance has unearthed huge assets of Biswadarsi Sahoo, OWS , Project Administrator (PA), ITDA, Bonai in Sundargarh district during simultaneous house searches.

Due the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets (DA) by Sahoo, the house searches are being conducted by the Vigilance sleuths led by one Additional SP, three DSsP, 10 Inspectors and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh at the seven places in Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Jajpur and Bonai linked with the ITDA Project Administrator.

During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sahoo and his family members;

1. One Double storeyed residential building with area 3600 Sqft located at Sriram Nagar, Old Town, over Plot No.1813/3941, Mouza-Unit-27, Bhubaneswar.

2. Flat No.304, 3rd Floor, Bhagwan Tower, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar with area *approx.1500 Sqft*.

3. Advance payment of Rs.15.75 lakhs by Sahoo to Realtor to purchase Flat No.402 (under construction), 4th floor, EVOS Galaxy, Unit-3, Kharvela Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

4. 9 nos. of high value plots in and around Bhubaneswar & Puri. Details as under;

i) One plot vide plot No.1813/3941 Khata No.994/744 measuring an area of A 0.60 dcml., Mauza Unit-27, Old town, Bhubaneswar.

ii) One plot vide plot No.140, Khata No.325/96 measuring an area of A 0.184 dcml., Mauza-Kukudaghai, Bhubaneswar.

iii) One plot vide plot No.172, Khata No.238/2231 measuring an area of A 0.110 dcml., Mauza-Bijipur, Bhubaneswar.

iv) One plot vide plot No.1320/9498, Khata No.1494/7460 measuring an area of A 0.50 dcml., Mauza-Baragada, Bhubaneswar.

v) One plot vide plot No.1806/4016, Khata No.994/808 measuring an area of A 0.28 dcml., Mauza-Unit-27, Old town, Bhubaneswar.

vi) One plot vide plot No.1806/4016/4207, Khata No.994/1030 measuring an area of A 0.27 dcml., Mauza-Unit-27, Old town, Bhubaneswar.

vii) One plot vide plot No.1676/2770/4465, Khata No.456/2593 measuring an area of A 0.23 dcml., Mauza-Paikarapur, Bhubaneswar.

viii) One plot vide plot No.1665, Khata No.129 measuring an area of A 0.3 dcml., Mauza-Batagaon, Puri.

ix) One plot vide plot No.73/439, Khata No.482/2488 measuring an area of A 0.3 dcml., Mauza-Sahaspur, Jatani, Khurdha.

The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above building/flats/ plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.

5. Cash Rs.2,05,000.

6. Gold jewellery weighing approx. 150 gms.

7. 1 four wheeler (Tiago) & 4 two wheelers.

8. Bank, Insurance & Postal deposits and other investments etc. are being ascertained.

9.One locker being operated in name of spouse of Sahoo at SBI Branch, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar is to be opened.
