Cuttack: Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Roul, a self-proclaimed godman of Odisha, was on Monday granted bail by Orissa High Court against a bail bond of Rs. 2 lakh and two bailers.

The High Court has directed him not to influence witnesses and cooperate in the investigation. The lower court may also set additional conditions in the bail granted.

The controversial godman was arrested by the Crime Branch on August 8, 2015, from his Barimula ashram in Kendrapara district on charges of sexual exploitation and cheating.
