Puri: The demolition process of the ‘Emar Matha’ and other dilapidated structures around the Shri Jagannath Temple continues on the 4th day today.
The authorities are leaving no stone upturned to complete the process on time.
Speaking to Thenewsroom.co.in, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Binay Kumar Dash on Friday said, “The demolition of commercial complex located in the Emar Matha is going on and the debris are being disposed off systematically.”
While some of the old structures of the Emar Matha have been removed, the Raghunandan Library has been razed completely.
When asked about the Mahanta of Emar Matha Gopala Ramanuja Das who is not coming out of Matha, Dash said, it is not a big issue, it will be resolved soon.
