Puri: Odisha vigilance sleuths have apprehended Supervisor, Khadi Village Board Industries at office of DIC, Puri for taking bribe from the owner of a bell metal processing unit for facilitating release of subsidy.
The supervisor has been identified as Narayan Pattnaik.
Pattnaik, Supervisor has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.15000 from the owner of a bell metal processing unit for facilitating release of Rs.2,45,000 subsidy.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case no 17/2022 U/S 7 PC(Amendment) Act-2018 has been registered. The investigation in the matter is in progress, the vigilance said.
