Rayagada: In a tragic incident, two minor girls have been charred to death in Lakris village under Kashipur Block in Rayagada district today.
They have been identified as the daughters of Maning Majhi of the village.
On noticing the fire, Maning and villagers rushed to douse it. However, they failed as the entire hut was gutted and the two girls were charred to death.
Meanwhile, Kashipur police seized the body for post-mortem.
