Earlier during the day, a delegation of the Biju Janata Dal has submitted a memorandum to the State Election Commission in this regard and sought action against the Ganjam District President of BJP Bibhuti Bhushan Jena alleging violation of the Model Code of Conduct in Golanthra and Konisi in Ganjam district.
In the representation given to the SEC, the BJD delegation said that the BJP’s Ganjam District President Bibhuti Bhusan Jena and other BJP leaders have grossly violated the Model Code of Conduct Guidelines.
