Bhubaneswar: The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (Vizag Steel), has donated Rs 140 lakh to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the relief and restoration work in the cyclone Fani-affected areas in Odisha.
PK Rath, CMD, RINL-VSP met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here today and presented a cheque for Rs 140 lakh on behalf of the company towards “Odisha CM’s Relief Fund” as a responsible corporate citizen under Corporate Social Responsibility initiative including RINL employees contribution of Rs 90 lakh.
The Chief Minister praised the RINL management for coming forward to help in rebuilding Odisha after the Fani cyclone.
