Bhubaneswar: At least 10 districts in Odisha will likely to witness heavy rainfall for two days from June 28 under the influence of a low pressure, predicts the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The low pressure is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal and neighbourhoood around June 30, the met office said.
Heavy rainfall is likely to take place at one or two places over districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Sundergarh, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Nabarangpur and Koraput on June 28 and 29, an IMD bulletin said.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in districts like Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Nuapada and at few other places in interior and coastal Odisha till 8.30 am on June 28, it added.
