Bhubaneswar: Eighteen districts in Odisha are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall till Tuesday 8.30 am, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Puri,” the IMD said.
The IMD regional centre in Bhubaneswar has also issued Yellow Warning for the districts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Puri districts till Tuesday 8.30 am.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior Odisha and many places over the districts of coastal Odisha, the IMD predicted.
