Bhubaneswar: The deadline for admission into +2 courses in the first phase at junior colleges in Odisha has been extended by two days, informed School & Mass Education Department on Friday.
“Due to server-related glitches, the admission dates for first phase of Plus ll admission have been prolonged for two extra days”, informed School & Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
The earlier scheduled deadline was on July 6, but now admission process will continue on July 8 and July 9, as well, he said.
The rest of the deadline dates for other phases of admission remain unchanged.
The first merit list was published on July 2. Out of 3,75,958 students who had applied for admissions, 3,33,573 of them have been selected.
The second merit list will be published on July 12 and admission of selected students will be done between July 12 and 16.
The admission process will be carried out for around 4,51,000 seats in 2,041 higher secondary schools across Odisha.
