Berhampur: In a major boost to the Skilled-in-Odisha programme, as many as 269 students of the State Government-run ITI Berhampur (Industrial Training Institute, Berhampur) got placement at a leading company.
The students of ITI Berhampur were recruited by Suzuki Motor Gujarat, the first Suzuki automobile manufacturing plant in India.
Before passing, the students of are being hired by the automobile giant with a package Rs 18k per month for apprenticeship followed by regular placement after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Dr. Rajat Kumar Panigrahi, Principal of ITI Berhampur has congratulated to all the students and the teachers for the feat.
Suzuki Motor Gujarat has lauded the hard work and dedication of the State Government in making ITI Berhampur a great learning place for the students and contributing in building the future leaders of the nation.
