Rayagada: In the wake of spike in Covid-19 cases, the Rayagada administration on Saturday announced 72-hour shutdown in the entire district.
Rayagada Collector Pramod Kumar Behera said that the shutdown will remain in force from Aug 2 till Aug 4.
The district headquarters hospital (DHH) has also been closed for 48 hrs. following few of its employees tested positive for Covid-19.
The district has registered as high as 164 new positives in the last 24 hours.
