Bhubaneswar: Three government functionaries have been convicted in a day for bribery, informed the Odisha Vigilance.
Jugal Kishore Parida, Ex-Head Clerk(Retd),O/o DGM,Electrical, EHT Div., BPR, Ganjam, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in BPR Vig PS Case No.6/2018 for taking bribe, was convicted by the court to one year jail and fine.
Drupada Sahasia, Ex-Head Clerk (Retd), Kutra Block, Sundargarh, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in Spl. Judge, Vig, SNG TR No. 141/2016 for taking bribe, was convicted by the Court to two years jail and fine.
Saroj Kumar Das, Ex- Jr. Manager, Boinda section, Angul (dismissed from service), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in Cuttack Vig. PS Case No.17/2017 for taking bribe, was convicted by the Court to three years jail and fine.
