Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday decided to include 30,000 more artists in the Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana, a major scheme of the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department.
During the visit of 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian to the districts, artists and their organizations have requested to include more artists in this scheme.
The Chief Minister has decided to increase the number of beneficiaries under the scheme.
In this scheme, 50,000 artists are being given monthly assistance of Rs.1200. Now the number of beneficiaries of this scheme has been increased from 50, 000 to 80,000.
Another 30,000 artists of the State will benefit from the Mukhyamantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana
