Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths arrested Rebati Raman Joshi, Asst. Conservator of Forest (ACF), Hirakud Wild Life Division, Sambalpur in a disproportionate assets case.
In a statement, the Vigilance said that based on searches conducted on properties of Rebati Raman Joshi, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets comprising 3 buildings including 1 triple storeyed building in Sambalpur town worth approx Rs.1.80 crore, 4 flats including 1 flat in BBSR & 3 flats in Sambalpur town, 7 plots, cash Rs.14.71 lakhs, etc, which he could not explain satisfactorily.
Following this, Joshi has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance and will be forwarded today to Court for possession of disproportionate assets.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance PS case No.28/2024 has been registered against Sri Rebati Raman Joshi, ACF.
Investigation of the case is in progress, the Vigilance added.
