Bhubaneswar: The Odisha School and Mass Education Department today announced that admission for Elementary and Secondary schools will commence from April 27.
In a notification, the Mass Education Department said the admission will commence from April 27, 2021 (Tomorrow) and should be completed before May 31, 2021.
“The Government is pleased to order that, new admission into Elementary / Secondary Classes are to be completed by 31. May, 2021,” the notification said.
“The admission process should be conducted from 7.00 A.M. to 9.30 A.M on all working days. Not more than five parents should be allowed at a time to attend school for admission of their wards. The Headmasters are to ensure that, during the process of admission, all guidelines issued by the Government as precautionary measures such as using mask, social distancing and sanitization are to be followed strictly when parents come to school for admission”, it added.
Notice for parents to this effect will be disseminated to parents/CRCCs through the WhatsApp group formed for implementation of ‘Odisha Siksha Sanjog’ programme, it further said.
