Bhubaneswar: The advisors appointed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for different departments got special ranks.
As per an official notification, as many as 11 advisors were conferred with special ranks in Administration.
Ministry of State rank has been conferred to Lopamudra Buxipatra-Advisor, Mission Shakti; Sudhir Das-Advisor, BSKY, Mujibulla Khan- Advisor, SC ST and Minorities and Backward Classes Development Dept; Anubhav Patnaik- Advisor, ET and IT Dept; Krutibas Patra- Advisor, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Department; and Ramachandra Panda- Advisor, Odisha State Agriculture Marketing Board.
Similarly, Chief Secretary rank has been conferred to Sujeet Kumar- Advisor-Special Development Council.
Principal secretary rank has been conferred to four advisors, such as Utkal Keshari Parida- Advisor, Chilika Development Authority • Debasis Mallick- Advisor, Odisha Forest Development Corporation • Janmejay Lenka- Advisor, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department • Sulata Deo- Advisor, Women and Child Development Department were given the rank of Principal Secretary.
