Bhubaneswar: The urban local body elections will be conducted after the completion of Panchayat elections in Odisha.
The State Election Commission (SEC) has called for an all-party meeting on February 10 to discuss about the ULB elections.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 11.30 am at the Geeta Govinda Sadan here to discuss about flawless voter list, free and fair conduct of the elections.
The SEC has already started the process of conducting elections for over 100 ULBs in the State.
The preparations began after the district collectors submitted delimitation and reservation lists and the SEC released those.
As many as 110 civic bodies, including three municipal corporations, 48 municipalities and 59 notified area councils are likely to go to polls
Of the total 1,756 wards, 668 wards are unreserved while 122 are reserved for SCs, 171 for SC women, 49 for STs and 133 for ST women. A total of 613 wards have been reserved for women.
