Odisha Artist Creates World’s Smallest Chariot of Lord Jagannath

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s renowned sand artist Subal Moharana has created a miniature chariot of Lord Jagannath ahead of annual Rath Yatra, which is scheduled to be held on June 23.

The Bhubaneswar-based artist’s replica of Lord Jagannath’s chariot Nandighosh is 2.3 mm high and its width is 1.9 mm.

Moharana has used wooden pieces, clothes and fabric colors for making the chariot, which is said to be the world’s smallest chariot of Lord Jagannath.

The artist has applied for Guinness Book of World Records for his creation, news agency ANI reported.
