Odisha Assembly Deputy Speaker Tests Positive for COVID-19 Ahead of Monsoon Session

Bhubaneswar: Deputy Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Rajanikant Singh has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the Monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Singh took to Twitter to inform that he has been admitted in SUM COVID Hospital, Bhubaneswar and requested those who have come in close contact with him to get themselves tested.

“I have been tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted in SUM Covid Hospital, Bhubaneswar. I request each and everyone who have come in close contact with me in recent few days to get themselves tested. Jai Jagannath”, he tweeted.

The Monsoon Session of the 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly will begin from September 29 and will continue till October 7.
