Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly passed the resolution on caste-basted census and 50 percent reservation ceiling on the concluding day of Monsoon session of the House.
The resolution was moved by ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Minister Jagannath Saraka in the House.
The resolution will be sent to the State Commission for Backward Classes.
Meanwhile, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro declared the session adjourned sine die this afternoon after the valedictory function.
As many as 13 official Bills were passed in the Assembly during the session.
