Bhubaneswar: Reprimanding former MLAs for not vacating government quarters, Odisha Assembly Speaker Surya Narayan Patro today asked them to vacate the quarters within three days.
Earlier, the Speaker had urged the administration to stop water supply and snatch electricity connection to those quarters which are being occupied by ex-MLAs.
The former legislators have not surrendered their quarters despite repeated notice by the Speaker, reports said.
Taking a strong note on it, Patro today issued a three-day ultimatum to them to vacate the quarters.
As per sources, as many as 26 former legislators are yet to vacate their government quarters.
