New Delhi: Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Bikram Keshari Arukha paid a courtesy visit to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at Lok Sabha Secretariat here on Thursday.
Arukha informed the Lok Sabha Speaker that the work is going on to make the Odisha Legislative Assembly a model Assembly in the country by further enhancing the technological skills of the officials and staff members of the Assembly.
During the meeting, Om Birla got to know about the various functions and management of Odisha Assembly. He expressed his happiness over the peaceful and smooth conduct of the recently concluded Budget Session of the Odisha Assembly and advised Arukha to continue such proceedings in the coming days.
During the meeting, Birla and Arukha also held discussions regarding the ongoing development works in various fields in Odisha.
