Balasore: Vigilance officials today carried out raids at the office and house of District Assistant Statistical Officer Parameswar Rout for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Armed with Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge,Vigilance, Balasore, the vigilance sleuths have conducts search operation in four places including his residential double storied building at Angaragadia, Balasore Town, Single storied building at Saraswatipur, Balasore Town, house at native Village at Artung, PS. Basudepvur, Dist. Bhadrak and office room at Balasore.
However, the exact amount of his disproportionate assets has not yet been known. It can be ascertained after the raid, he added.
