New Delhi: On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day today, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has awarded Odisha for being second in the country for its achievement towards elimination of TB.
This has been informed by the Odisha Health Department.
“Proud to share that on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day today, Odisha was awarded by Govt of India for being 2nd in the country for its achievements towards elimination of TB in 2020”, the Health Department tweeted.
Dr. Niranjan Mishra, Director Public Health Odisha and Dr P K Hota, State TB Officer, Odisha, received award from Union Minister for H&FW, Dr Harsh Vardhan and Minister of State for H&FW , Ashwini Kumar Choubey, in Dr Ambedkar International Auditorium, New Delhi.
