Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, the body of driver was found hanging in BJP leader and former Padampur MLA Pradip Purohit’s flat in Bhubaneswar.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanurjay Pandey, a native of Hirapur village in Paikmal block of Bargarh district.
As per reports, Pandey was working in the BJP leader’s house for five years. He stayed with Purohit at his Bhavani apartment in Laxmi Nagar here.
The police recovered the body of Pandey. However, it was not clear whether he committed suicide or was murdered.
Meanwhile, the police sealed the flat. An investigation is underway into all aspects of the incident, reports added.
