Bhubaneswar: Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari Friday presented the Odisha’s Rs 1, 39,000 crore annual Budget for 2019-20 fiscal in the Assembly which saw highest resource allocation in agriculture and allied sector.
In the Budget 2019-20, the highest resource allocation is witnessed in agriculture and allied sector at Rs 20,174 crore, while Panchayati Raj Department got resource allocation of Rs 18,419 crore followed by Social and Mass Education Department (Rs 16,400 crore).
The resource allocation to the developments are made in terms of Administrative Expenditure, Programme Expenditure, Disaster Response Fund and Transfer from State.
